I was looking to buy a 250x or 300ex, but I think I like the Yamaha Warrior the best, although I'm not sure the weight difference of it vs the Hondas. If it's significant, maybe I should stick with a lighter bike, even though it has a smaller motor???

My question is simple...
Can anyone tell me what changes the Warrior had over the years, and does it matter what year warrior I buy? I know the plastics have changed over the years, but I don't really care about that. I'm looking to spend under $2,000, so if a mid-80's isn't much different than a newer one, then that's what I'll get.

i would think brakes tires and exuast would have changed a little over the years but then again i wasn't born when they came out

one thing i can tell you is i raced a older warrior with lots of mods and i have 2000 warrior and it smoked the crap out of it
