Came accross this on E-Bay. Does anybody know if the pilot cylinder bolts right up? I mean I realize there would be some case machining to clear the larger sleeve just like any big bore and obviously a different crank. I'm just curious if it bolts right up or not. Anyone done this or know of anybody that has? How is it for power, vibrations, etc. Thanks!

There was a guy in California selling one on the 250r.com website a while back asking $8500 with the same setup. I'll try to find his ad and you can contact him.

He listed Pacard racing, so they probably did the mods.

I would personally love to put a Pilot motor in a 250R. Electric start and reverse and a 400cc 2 stroke - watch out. I'm not sure how you'd deal with the pully drive though.

That's a pilot top end mated to a 250r bottom. Nice looking bike.
