We are planning a trip to Little Sahari This spring was just wondering what size paddles are good for 250Rs. I don't really do any more of any type of riding than another. I am looking for a good all around tire.

I ran Sandstars on my 89 when it had the stock motor in it. I am using 9 paddle haulers with the 350.

I would recommend an 8 paddle sand tire unless you have a heavily modded R that can pull more paddles. I have always ran either ( I own both) depending on my riding, Sand Skate II's for good hook up and handling and running Haulers for the ultimate traction. You lose a little bit of handling but nothing a little body english won't fix. If I was going to buy one tire I would buy an 8 paddle Hauler. I am near the KC area as well so if you want to try either of them out, your more than welcome. I bought the Sand Skate II's from recommendation of others then bought Haulers a year later and honestly regreted buying the others, though the Sand Skate II's are still a good choice for a tire I just think that you can't go wrong with the Hauler.

for the money i've had good luck with sand devels 20x11x8's mounted on wide wheels they give plenty of surface contact.
