so i wanna put a 450 carb on my 400 and i was just wondering if i should get the stock honda carb or if an aftermarket one would be better???

for the money, the stock one is more worth it.

so there would be no advantage to getting a aftermarket carb i could just stick a stock one on there and it would be a vast improvement

stick with the stock 450 carb.... what mods do u have??? i don't think it would be worth it unless u r running a pipe, cam, piston, and bored to at least a 416. my personal opinion. the 450 carb would be too much unless u have some substancial mods

Not really, either way a bigger carb will give you a "boost" of power, the piston/cam/pipe/filter will just bring the most power out of it.
