Ok so my quad wasnt running and i thought maybe there was dirt in the jets or something of that area so i cleaned out my carb and did all that little stuff and changed spark plug and the oil etc... went to start it up and its racing like i have never heard... Like i have the throttle pinned and whether the choke is on or off it does this and the idle screw doesnt help at all either... Please someone help me i need to fix this problem

The choke may be stuck in the carb housing. I would pull the choke out of the carb and check to see if there is anything blocking it from moving or that the spring is not missing/broken.

The cable is kinked somewhere. Check the routing

Thanks guys turns out to be the throttle cable... so far so good went riding for about an hour today with no problems!!! i love you all and god bless ur dear souls

mine did that once. it was the little turnbuckle in the cable that came loose. glad to hear your back in action.
