I am posting this for a friend, he is putting a brand new set of 22 x10 x 10 10 paddle haulers on his 450r. You think this will be to much paddle?? He has 2004 450r that was built and dynoed by nmotion his mods are full yoshi pipe, esr air box eliminator, 520 big bore, 13 to 1 high comp, web cam, bigger vavles. It was dynoed at 52 horsepower i believe. He is also running stock gearing. What do you guys think?

Yea I would say thats getting pretty close to having to much tire. They will prolly work just fine though. There are alot of people on here that know more about duning then I do. Lets see what others think.

Too much paddles 6 or 7 would be better with 10 he will not have any top end and will be slower. At 4SW alot of the 450,s were running 7 or 9 paddles.

Depends on where you are riding at. I am gonna be running 21x12x8 10 paddle extremes on my big bore 450r, but we are racing short distances on a flat track. For longer runs, and especially for up hill races, you are going to want to go with much less.

out the hole you think he wil even be able to pull that tire without bogging

Well, it depends. If it is an 05 running stock gearing, it is debatable. I would run a 13T... or at least try one.
