hey guys this post is for a friend he has a 2004 limited edition z-400 and its goin through coolant like crazy and he says its smoking too does anybody no what this problem could be?

Sounds like a blown head gasket. Have him drain the oil in a clean container. If it is milky or foamy looking more than likely it is a blown head gasket. It is probably smoking from the coolant in the oil. This could cause major damage to the engine. I wouldnt ride it until it is fixed.
