So I bought a pull choke the other day for my 03 z and I went to in stall it and I can't get the old choke cable out of the carb. The spring in there was a little corroded and now the cable wont come out! any suggestions on how to get it out without taking the whole carb out. I tried wd-40 and pulling really hard and nothing.

I recently put a pull choke on mine and I didnt have any problems but I know what the corrosion your talking about. If you can get a good hold on the spring, you may be able to thread it out like a screw. I used a can of contact cleaner and one of those little fuzzy pipe cleaner things to clean mine out. They are great for cleaning the jets also.
