I have an 05 kfx with a hmf s/o,uni air filter,no lid, and no snorkel.I have a dayno jet stage 1&2 kit.I am below 500 ft. but not sea level.I know I've already asked this question in an older thread but I only got like 1 guy to answer me.What jets would you guys recomend?Also,would I need to change the pilot,needle, and how much should I turn the fuel screw?THANKS!!!

Jetting is one of those mods that has many preferences. In order to get it exactly how you like it takes a bit of trial and error. Most people dont have a dyno to check there quad. the old butt dyno is your best chance. The way I have done it in the past is to try them out until the bike starts cutting out at top speed and back down a size until it quits. Alot of people do it differently though, and thats probably why you havent gotten a response. If you go to Z400central.com go to the Tech section they should be able to give you your correct jetting.

I have a KFX 400 and no lid and my jetting specs are dyna jet 155 main,needle, 3rd grove from the top and 3 screws out on the mixture screw, and it gets holeshots,corse i race desert and worcs ,not mx
