renthals 7/8 flipped many times bent 2 stock steeringstems but bars are mint.

tag-7/8 bars- ltz-400 bend....flipped quad and bars are good , stem is bent

Pro Taper Contour (1 1/8") Bars Cr mid bend. filpped 2 times dead on the bars and haven't even bent the bars. Stem is bent to 5h!t. lol

Pro Taper SE 7/8ths ATV Lo bend. I love em. I've rolled the quad on it's side a couple of times and no problems. From what I've heard, Pro Taper is the strongest bar you can buy.

Pro taper SE CR high bend....I love the dirtbike bend so much more than the stock 400ex bend!!!! Plus they look awsome!!

i have moose bars....they were cheap when i bent my stock ones..so i thought id try them...u get wut u pay for....tried goin through sum close trees...didnt make it my left tire hit one rolled down a hill one time and bent like no other....dont get them

i had pro taper contour bars but i bent them so i am looking to get some cheap bars now. dose any one have any bars that are mini bend? the ones i have now are quad mid and they are to low and wide. is the mini bend higher and narrower? im looking at the fly alumi-steel bars buit i cant find the measurements of them anywhere.

those r the 450r bend. i got them because they had a little less sweep than the ex bend

they were on it when i bought it, i think i might buy pro taper or renthal though, the mooses have held up fine, but there very low

what is the best way to go about choosing a set of bars? I think that i'd like some that are a little bit higher than the stock bars, but i'm not sure. I'd hate to spend the money on some, and then not like them. Do i need to try and find a friend or something that has bars like what i think i want, or are there any places that have them installed on bikes so you can see what you want? Or do i just need to guess at it, and just buy some?

Here's how I did it.

First, decide what you want. I wanted ...

1. to "open up the cockpit" - more room
2. Less sweep, so my wrists weren't bent
3. Less bend - more like a dirtbikes bars
4. More flex - eliminated steel bars
5. More height - a little higher than the stock height, so I could ride standing up more.

Then I went to the dealership, and I found bars with roughly the bend, sweep and width I wanted, sat on a ATV, and held the bars roughly where I wanted them to be.

That told me I needed riser bar clamps.

Once I decided they felt right, I looked online to find the bars with the dimensions I wanted, and the riser to go with them.

Turns out, it was trail tech x-bars.

Lastly, I found somebody who had them, and asked how they liked them.

That done, I got out the plastic and picked up the phone.

I have Renthals on my ex and Pro Taper on my YFZ. There both great bars but i beleive i like the Renthals the best.

I think mine are the TAG t2. They are almost straight across. They came on the quad and are too low for me. I guess the TAG cr highs would be better.

Fasst Co. FLEXX bars with yellow elastomers. Awesome.Had renthals before and they held up awesome with some pretty wicked crashes they are now retired to my backup set.

Who doesnt have aftermarket bars lol, if u flip ur quad once there bent. I have renthal 7/8 low rise bars

I have thoe FLEXX bas too,i have the blue rubbers inthere,they are pricey but It takes alot longer to get arm pump . I had Renthals on it and they took about 5 trips down the hill i was trying to climb landing on the bars each time and the bars were fine, I cant say the same about the 2 steering stems.
