when instaling a new axle what all needs to be changed quad is still like new with about 20 hours on it so i shouldnt have to replace anything else right? i can just "put a new axle in"

if you mean what do you need to make an aftermarket axle work, then the answer is nothing.

look at your stock axel and stick your finger in the carrier to feel your bearings ....and spacer tube, also inspect seals to see that they didn't get torn upon removal of stock axel

ok i just started removeing the old axle
