ehhhh YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its good for just about anything, its even good in most xc places also

Yes your LTR should do great in the dunes.
Gut the Exhaulst install a cherry bomb and the LTRs rip!!!!
There are wide so that is also good for the dunes

Why wouldnt it work good in the dunes? it has wider a arms for duning and sits low. it works better than the yamaha or the honda just because the suspension.

When you say gut the exaust you mean take out the spark arrester right?

When I went to Silver Lake, MI a couple months ago, I had to put the spark arrestor back in. They require this for riding the dunes, and do check. I wasn't very happy...
I'll have to look at the pea-shooter to see if anything can be done to it. No plans to buy an aftermarket exhaust soon, and I plan to go again in a couple of weeks. It was still a blast to ride though.

YES. If your dunes won't alow you too run without a spark arrestor my friend bought a spark arrestor (one of those you take off the end cap and put the sparker in then put back on the end cap) off another pipe and they past it. Forget what pipe though.....maybe a big gun????
