400ex axle in 450r??

i was wondering if anyone here knows if a +4 400ex axle will fit into a 450r?i would imagine you change out the sproket hubs but im not sure.i have a lsr 400ex axle that i can sell and the kid has a 450r so does anyone know if it can work?
