I went to Durhamtown today and I was over at the dragstrip and had just pulled up and there was a guy on a new outlander max and he was like lets race and I was like sure. Of course I was thinking I would smoke his *** but it was not so. The course is only 300 feet or something close to that. I get about halfway through 4th and that is all. I was pulling on everybody when I was getting through 4th but not enough room. If you know anybody with a outlander max race him you will be shocked at how fast one of those are. My question is if I go down to 18" tires will I get through 4th or should I just stick with the 20". I am running 14 front and a 38 rear sprocket.

that's your problem....you need a 13/38 with 20's. 14T is the wrong gear selection and you're losing all your hp on top

It is a good gear for the trails in my opinion. But for mx and dragging it is not the right gear. 13t would definately benefit me there.
