lt 80 weird brackets?

I just bought a LT80 and these brackets are over each tire, any idea what they are for? The phillips screws holding them on appear to be similar to the screws holding the hood on, which makes me think it might be somthing added that was from Suzuki? I've asked a few other 80 owners and they claim is home made or aftermarket. The white thing in the pic threads into a welded hidden nut, don't think the rear two strange brackets have nuts. Help? Thanks.

I work at a local bike shop. We also had an lt80 come in with brackets. The man that sold it said he mounted lights on it. So, that could possibly be what those are from. Hope I was helpful
