Foot peg bolts!

Just the other day I hit a small jump, went maybe 2 feet and when I came down my left foot peg came right off. I snapped the two 3/8 (9/16 head) bolts off. I had to drill and tap them out 1 size bigger. I went to the right side to check the bolt tightness and another one broke off, on the right side you can drill all the way through and put a bolt all the way through, the left side you will hit the chain and roller. I replaced them all with 7/16 hex head grade 8s with lock washers.

It is very possible that you over tightened the bolts when you changed frames! They will snap if over done. I always follow torq specs on high stress areas such as footpegs.

That or I need to go on a diet. If my new bolts fail, then I guess I either weld them on or grind the threaded studs off the frame and weld some bolts on.

Good luck fixing it
At the race yesterday somehow I ripped the left rear fender clear off my Outlaw! Thankfully I have an extra set of plastic for it.
