After going through a small mud hole it would run great but would not idle for about 3 or 4 minutes. went through the usuall stuff with electrical connections and dielectric grease and carb cleaning. If you spray the cylinder and head with the hose it will stall and not idle for about 2 minutes, but will run great and start right up every time.
This problem just started recently.
If you trickle cold water on the valve cover it will stall within 5 seconds,
however if you trickle hot water on the valve cover it will still idle with no problem.
gonna check compression and valve clearances tonite
Any ideas?

ok, beings the suspense is killing you all.....
it was a tight intake valve!
does not need the choke any more to start.
also does not need any throttle to start.
and now has twice the power!
