you should be fine. you may get a little more noise out it than a stock cam. however, you will get a lot more power as well. if you adjust your shims accordingly then you should be just fine.

the stage 2 definitly makes a chattery knock noise. i have heard at least 4 450R's with this cam and all made the same noise.

Mine does it, but my 01 ss has a cam in it too and does the same thing so it does not bother me.

Mine makes a ticking noise, but my sparks covers it up just fine

Im with the rest of you, my stage two sounds like chattering teeth. But my LRD covers it quite nicely . DEFINATELY worth the HP gains. The noise is noticeable, but not obnoxiously loud.

Pretty much all cams that offer more power will make noise, especially ones that are mid-top range cams. They have more lift and ramp speed, as they close it's going to make more noise then the stock cam. If they are adjusted right, it will minimize any more noise, but any extra noise is no big deal. Really

Put it in

nope i put one in and it ****in awesome and not noisy at all

Maybe its the larger intake lift hitting the cam followers. You can send your cam tower to DRG and get it bored for larger buckets should make it run smooth as anything. just my 2 cents.

i too got a hc stage 2. my doesn't make any more noise then stock.
