will an fcr carb from a crf450 dirt bike work on my 05 450r or do i need to get that pricy lil billet adapter??

U need adapter

Or you can use an "06"air box. It's snug but works if you attach carb then put in small bolts to re- install air box otherwise you have to fight with it.
