IMO you should clean the motor veryyy well. Alot of people make such nice quads but the motors are dirty and kind of ruin the new and inproved look lol. If i sounded like an *** saying that i didnt mean it like that lol.

im going to use a SOS pad along with Simple Green once I get her all back otgether.

Its easyer to clean the motor when it is out of the frame then it is in the frame. What made you do the rebuild? Did you rebuild the motor? Same plastic as before?

I was fed up with bending/tweaking/cracking the frame, so I stripped it down and guesseted it. Then it went to Pappy. Oh and its not the same plastic as before. Just wait, give me like 3days.

oh its powdercoated! SO is the swinger,batterybox,motormounts,footpegs,rear brake pedel. I sprayed the a arms.

Here are two updated pics as of last night (8/25/06). Im almost done! I had a mishap with the motor firing,but it ended up being the PC on the ground connections

. We got that straightened up and now she fires. Feels good to here what she sounds like again. Here is the link with the rest of the pics:

How do you clean the engine so good? Mine always look like crap since the mud bakes on.

personaly, i think mine looks like crap. If I get time today I am going to get a SOS pad and some Simple Green and try cleaning it up, but I have alot to do today before I go back to school tomorrow.
