For you out there with the 14t sprocket on your 300ex's, what did you do with the casesaver, just leave it off?

Just use a grinder to take off about 1/16" for clearance.

i have raced a lot of races without my case saver on and now that i am building my quad back up, I will be sure to grind it down some.

The case saver didn't help my case when my chain broke went right threw the case saver and in to my case. i have a 14 tooth now and dont have one. If there were after market case savers i would prolly buy one but grinding down some thing that is weak as it is makes no sence to me. JMO

I dont have one... my case looks all messed up I think the chain broke at some point and snaped and broke lots of crap..

probaly. I have small grinding marks from where my past owner threw a chain, nothing major tho.
