Hey Everyone.
My Buddie (Jason, Dave you will freak out) Just bought a YFZ 450. All Stock.
I told him the first thing to do was change the timing.
I thought this was a big job and I thought there was a thread on how to do this but I can not find it.
Wht special steps is there. Also I heard you advance the exhault tooth 1. Buy my dad thought you retarted it.
Do you retart or advnace the timing? Intake or Exhaulst?
What steps is there? I know how to take the head and stuf off and how to adjust it, But I have never done it on a YFZ.
Also wht kind of jetting you do when you take the baffles out of the exhaulst? I live aournd 750 Feet above sea level.
Thanks

ok let me get this straight...theres 2 marks on the cam sprocket, the rear one is aligned with the head, while the other one is almost-near the top?, and then on sprocket 2 it's offset up from the head 1 tooth?

I found the Article I was looking for in Dirt Wheel Mag.
It is the January 06 Issue Page 222.
Easy to follow steps.
