i just sold mine and i am kicking myself in the *** for it. they r solid bikes and pritty much bullet proof. with a pipe and an air filter they can run with most 400s. i would deff get the 300ex over any other quad in its class.

ya there a great quad...it was hard somtimes keepin up with the 400s but like most the stuck 400exs arnt to fast u can keep up..and around corners they dont pull away or if they do not very much at all...i loved mine...but wanted to move up...but a 300ex is great i just moved up...to a kfx...

I've been riding the 300EX's since they started in 1987 as the 250X. Never had any troubles from them unless I started it myself.

I've put these quads through some of the toughest tests there are over the years. With the right body english, the 300EX will go pretty much anywhere you point it.

It's a shame Honda didn't revamp the 300EX a bit better and keep it in the line-up for 07

In my opinion.....the 300EX is built rock solid. With a few mods they are even better.

If you buy one to compete with bigger bores, forget it. You'll always be wanting more than the quad can give. The faster you make them, the more re-enforcements are needed and the less they are in the reliability end of the spectrum.

I know there are lots of people who'll say differently, and that's fine. Those of the riders that race them have every modification and upgrade they can get....or, they're planning to get.

One of the most reliable, bulletproof, dependable quads made.

Loads of torque for trail riding.

Low HP machine though. If you have a need for speed you'll never be able to keep up with the 450's (machine wise). The dunes kill them too.

If you ever hit the dunes.. look at a 400ex. If you're trail only the 300ex will ba a GREAT quad.

I bought one a few years ago and love it. However I now would like a bit more power. If the 400ex had reverse in 01 or 02 I would have gottin a 400 over the 300.

yea the 300's are solid bikes, kinda wish i had a 450r too though cause there bad a** bikes but you'll be happy with a 300

i have a 300ex i dont think they are fast at all for stock i think they should make them a little faster for stock.thats y im getting motor work from tc racing over the winter and i heard their not making 300s no more is that true?

i love my 300ex for riding every were. it go's and do's any thing u ask it to.well beside beeting the 450s but i have beeten some on the track.with a little $ it can be made to run with the 400's.

here it is...(had to shrink pictures) also i got a white bros. e-series slip-on but it rubbed against my plastic and it melted..lol( before i got it) u cant really tell but...
