concrete ditches suck

went down a cliff.... out for 30 mins.. i guess i was ridin on the left side of a narrow road.. since there was some kindof a landslide.. and they say that i prolly hit a rock and just rolled down the hill and my body landed on the edge of the concrete then hit my ribs on one of those pipes....

luckily i just had some roadrashes and that thing on my back,,, no broken bones.. just a sore back, leg, shoulder.. sore body.. hah

that's just a theory haha... cus i dont remember what happened at all.. just that i hit something.. and then just.. black out..

i was actually the last of the bunch... (friends)... but there were like 500 quads, dirt bikes... it was like a big organized ride... with paramedics and all that..

the first words that came outta my mouth when i stood up were:
"what the **** happened"

i just remember passing some dude.. then lookin back... and i didnt see him.. then i just remember hittin really hard... and after that... i woke up when i heard the ambulance..

they said it took them about 15-20 mins to get up there... and.. then the time for someone to actually see i was down there and the time it took him to get the pm's

haven't ridden since that crash.. i still havent fixed the damages

i know the feeling bent my steering stem BAD on the 400ex now all i can ride is my bros 250ex i miss my baby

i am 15 and just lost a job too so i am low on dough man it sux soo bad but i guess sum time off the quad will give me time to build up my jumps and maybe a better landing till then i guess these forums will have to do for gettin my action on lol jk i can do wicked things on that 250

i agree and im sure my friend does to he was ridin and with his friend on there banshees goin maybe 70 or a little over and he looked to see a bunch of deers or something then my other friend in front of him stopped right when he turned he smoke the back of the other bansh and just slid down the tumbling and what not...you know all the good stuff

well lets see, yesterday i had to bail off a 70 foot ramp hit, no pics, but we have it on 2 different cameras.. which will be in the fallout volume 2. we already have a huge amount of crashes for the section, and were still not done filming

yeah sorry man, for u getting hurt but u do kinda resemble him. i had some good pics of me smacking a go kart into a van but the bruises are all gone and now its just a hematoma with some nerve damage plus i was alittle embarressed over the fact that i was riding a go kart and wrecked it for that matter....the only good part is thank god it wasnt my kfx. cuz damn i f ed that go kart up hahah

Well it was pretty much playin w\ fire and gas all night during a 24 Hour Race/Party at my Track......We couldent decide what a 12oz Soda Can filled w\ gas and lit on fire would do if it was jumped on......Go out or completly explode?, Well it defently blew up and caught my whole leg on fire for a few seconds, that mark was where my boot started meltin around my leg and thats what it looked like the next mornin, Yeah it was dumb but i dont regret it and it was funny as Hell

yea mine was fire related, i had 2nd and 3rd degree burns and was in the hospital for about a week and a half. and i couldnt ride for the rest of this summer

Rofl i did something simular exept it pepperd my leg, right after we got a spray can and hit it with a axe, it flew over 70 feet across out yard and we got metal in our skin, so i got pepperd twice painfully in 1 day

doing a second gear seat stander - jump to sitdown and for some reason slid off the left side of the seat. the grab bar left a 6''x3'' whole in my arm. tendons, nerves all showing, blood squirting in the air, 25 stitches on the outside, idk how many stitching the muscle together.....

Bulged two discs ,Had a water sac on my hip that had to be drained(70cc to be exact) the foot peg went threw my shin,took 6 months JUST to form a scar

I ended up with some nerve damage to the hip,leg and behind my knee.
And to think someone got it all on video

We thought I broke my pelvis, I had no feeling in certain areas of my back I thin the steriods they gave me is what helped me heal quicker. I was lucky and didnt have to have surgery. It hurt to even breathe for a day or so. I coudlnt roll myself over in bed, I had to have help to walk anywhere for a few days.I had to have some tests ran to see if I severed the nerve that controls all your bodily functions. that could have been really bad . I got lucky and just took it easy and let the swelling and healing kick in.
I raced about 4 weeks later .

And Im not JJ BTW...

But feel honored !

It was fast, short and sweet(well, not litereally lol).. This guy was erratic all night, I thought he was going to do hot into corner 3 like he did all the other corners,we hooked up and thats all she wrote

He went off in ambluance, I stuck it out until morning hopeing I could sleep off some of the pain.

Most of all the pics shown was worse than what my leg looked like. I think I would have passed out had my leg looked like a rare piece of steak!

I didnt even know my leg was cut open until I got home and my hubby helped me updress

my back hurt so bad I didnt feel much of anything else.When he took my sock off is when the blood went down my leg and he about passed out

I was fine with it until the ER srcubbed it out with a brush!

it was funny though, some cocky *** cop got to the ''scene'' first and walked over to me (i was sitting on the curb w/ my shirt off wrapped around my arm.....waiting for the AMBULANCE!!!!!) and grabbed his belt and pulled his pants up and asked '' *big sigh* sooooo, um.....can we see it!''. i was like ''UHHHHHH, HELL NO! your not going to be able to do anything to it!!!!!!''.

haha, but yeah. thats the WORST i've ever had. i work w/ sheetmetal so i get cuts from time to time but i've never had more than 6 stitches, so yeah, this one tops them all, lol.

and about girls and scars.........hot, idk...i guess. the way i look at it, its a story to tell. i got it doing something that im addicted to. its a better story than the stitches i get at work. ''how'd you do that?''.....''sheetmetal''. idk, saying ''stunting my quad'' just has a better ring to it, lol. and now when i go out and people, random people notice the scar i make up random ****. i told a woman at a gas station that i was attacked by a shark, hahaha! scars CAN be fun!!!!

The foot peg to the leg we though infected the bone and thought that was what caused it to not want to heal.Then there was the fear of diabetes...I was never so glad for that thing to heal!

LOL. Pain medication wasn;t good to me. It didn't take away much pain. I got really sick off of it. I was taking a jenaric vicadine. It gave me a stomach olser, made me freak out and I felt like I couldn't breath. They also said it made me hurt worse then taking away pain.

See I already have diabetes which makes all of my healing 2 times as long. But I agree with you and I would think everybody else on hear in saying that drugs are good

. When I had my wreck 4 years ago (broke my femur in half) they had to reset it while I was awake. It hurt like hell but not as bad as it could have been. Now I have a little purple scar on the side of my knee and that's all I have to show for it.

This is my helmet after a BAAAAAAAD bike crash. The white line beside the left breather hole is actually a crack that goes all the way through the helmet and the polestirein (sp) is completely smashed on the inside. Resulted in a 2 or 3 day concusion and a bunch of cut all over me aswell as squashed cartelidge in between 5 or 6 of my lower vertabae. Everyone thought i broke my hip because i couldnt walk for almost a week and missed 2 weeks of school recovering. The doctor and the physio told me I would never be able to ride again because my back would cause to much pain. But after 6 months of physio twice a week i got back on the bike.

I love proving doctors wrong when they say things like that.

i wish i had a pic but i was riding my friends moto 4 200 and it had these big *** mud tires on it. I went to pull a wheelie and fell of the side. when i fell i nailed the gas and did a burn out up my leg. It ripped ALL the skin off the inside of my leg from my Knee Down to my ankle.
i also tore a muscle in my leg and if i flex it pops out and looks like and egg (chicks love it:blah

Lets just say it left a nice scar.

Nope, that's the doctor's initials. During any major surgery in the military the patient is asked about 5 times if this is the correct part of the body to be worked on. The Doctor has the last say at it and then you watch him initial the body part that will be worked on.

BTW, from the time I tore my ACL to the time I had my operation it was about 2 months apart. So my leg felt fine, I just couldn't twist it or run on it.

This was kinda stupid but....

My friend and I were bored saturday and we decided to pull a tricycle behind the grizzly. I was going down the road about 20 MPH when he decided to stop well I though it would be funny to pass him when all of a sudden the roap wrapped around the rear tire and sent my rolling down the road. Nothing broken just some blood and bruised knee

I did somthing like that on a blaster 4 er 5 years ago...they hadda take the rear wheel off to get my leg out... i gott some pics somwhere of my face stitched up i gotta find

i was ripping around at about 35 -40 mph in my big feild and some how this root that was sticking up about 8 inches hooked on my front a arm and stopped the front end of my quad, i flew forward and bounced on my neck then slid abotu 10 feet then my quad went sailing over me into the one tree in that feild. my friend watched the whole thing and was really scared i brock my neck

all i had was a massive head ache fo a couple of days, i hear ya on the drugs but all igot was a ton of advil.

My run in with a dirtbike rider . This is the result of a direct hit from a KTM 125 while it's in the air and it's tire and forks crush your leg into the frame of a YFZ 450 . Shattered into MANY pieces and missing bone . Nothing worse than seeing a paramedic pick pieces of your bone out of the sand .

Surprisingly , when shock sets in , you don't feel much pain .

I didn't dare take a look at my leg though when the bone was sticking out .... I know if I would have , I'd have passed out . One of my buddies said it was the worst thing he's ever seen. When the paramedics cut my pants away to see what exactly the damage was , I just seen everyone that was standing around looking take a few steps back ... most turned around and left . All I heard from everyone was " Oh F*ck !!"

i have looked at T&A...regularly infact, but posting that on this site isn't such a good idea...

I had a 01 YZ125 maybe had it a week and traded it for another 4 wheeler. I did that before i could do that to myself. It was fast as f u c k!

Gravel feels good...You can slide on gravel...as long as there arent pieces of contrete sticking out. About a mid third gear slide job until my body decided it would be more fun to skip down a gravel drive way. I guess the sleevless shirt i was wearing didnt offer much skid resistance.

My daughter did a nice double whoop, look-ma-no hands, double fakie, doughnut roll. It ended with being airlifted in a helicopter to Phoenix,AZ from BFE.
Not much to see on the outside, but I did get some pics. If only I could figure out how to post the MRI pics, the CAT scan pics and the x-rays!

LOL.... i have something almost the same... top of fourth, gravel road, muffler caught while doing a wheelie and spun the quad sideways and flipped it end over end diagonal sideways kinda ( i think) and i hit my ***** on the ground incredibly hard (think i fractured my tailbone i could barely sit for weeks and it still hurts off and on almost a year later) then i went for a good slide in the gravel... like you the sleevless shirt i was wearing wasn't much help (had an akraix jersey on for the crash) and i was picking rocks and gravel out of my arms and hands for 2 weeks afterwards

somehow I actually made it to the downside when I bailed off. The quad stuck into the backside of the landing but I slid gracefully down the down side lol. I had a pretty nasty road rash on my bum and thats all for the list of injuries. The quad was pretty banged up though
