the oil ring broke off and cracked the piston and scored the cylinder i dropped the jug off at the machine shop to get it bored over .40 or 1mm and i think it will bring it to a 407 how much of a change will there be

If you didn't go with a higher compression piston you won't really notice any change with just the bore job. An 11:1 piston would make a nice change tho!
