I don't understand, why would he not ride the 250r, but ride a 450r?????? I think the 250r handles better, maybe he preffers a 4 stroke better. I ridden a few 450r's and I was far from impressed. The only 450r I am impressed by is my crf450r hybrid that uses 250r geometry and parts, but a crf450r motor. The only way to tell if that is the bike that was stolen is the run the fame number, balance bikes all looked the same.

The rules won't let 250r's in the pro class. I think in order to race a quad in the pro class, it has to be made within the last 5 years.

I know that, I was referring to the guy selling it, not bill balance, maybe this guy races too?

Production Rule (ATV): OEM motor and matching frame combination model required. Engine modifications, frame reinforcements and frame modifications to permit longer rear-wheel travel are permitted.
Ballance's R had a aftermarket LRD frame. I beleive that is the main reason he doesn't run the 250r anymore. They didn't use to have the oem frame rule.

not many used stock frames. Not too many have stock frames is good shpae anymore. I have 2 on stock frames, perfect straight frames, no major damage.
