i have a 300ex and i ride with people that have z400's and 400ex's and i was wondering if i should get a new 400 quad or upgrade my 300ex?? wats your opinion?? thanks?

What is your overall goal? With a pipe/intake and tire change with a little dabble in gearing to match the terrain...a lot depends on the rider at that point. Are you looking to "race" these guys or just looking to keep up through the trails?

I have a predator 500 that has a few things done to it and I am not all that much faster than I am on my wifes 300ex.

What are you looking to do?

We ride trials a lot but we also have a track and i would like to keep up with them on that. I already have a FMF and K&N and razor back tires. But i am talking like a 330 kit and more stuff internally or should i just get a new quad?

How long do you plan on keeping your quad? You could get a good deal on an 06 Predator right now and they do just about everything well and would easily lay the smack down on those in stock form.

If it were me...that is what I would do.

ok maybe but i was looking maybe if i got a new quad for a z400 or a 400ex. but i havent really looked at the predators so i might go look into them and see.

I wouldnt get a predator if i were you becuz theres alot more parts and dealers for Honda or Suzuki. If you want a new 400 try them out and see what one fits you. Dont do the 330 kit unless your going to have the 300 for a long time. But see what 400 fits you.

i have a 300ex right now n i ride my cousins 400ex alot. go wit the 400ex. the suspension is alot better n if u do that n put sum stuff on it it rides nice. i would even checkout the kfx400 or z400 cause there both biult lik 450 wit the fan n everything n i think the suspension might be a lil better. there great

I ride a 400ex the z400 doesn't compare to the 400ex the z is way better suspension wise much more up to date and it has a water cooled motor.. you don't have to worry about over heating plus you will be abel to smoke any piped 400ex. if i was u i would get the z.

I'd upgrade to a 400 for sure.

Forget the spending $$$ on the 330, and the headache associated with getting it all tuned.

i started racing my dads z400 and i can keep up to modded 450s on my dad colse to stock z400. i like it alot but im curently putting togaether a lt250r quadracer and it should be done with in the next week. i love it when u can buy a 250 2stroke for $475
