how much of a difrence will a lowering kit and spacer be, is it worth it and can a 250ex go to a local track and hit the jumps normally without bottoming out?

The lowering kits say that it "can take the punishment of MX'' I dont know that is true though. Wheels spacers on a MX track arent good, they put too much stress on your axle and aarms, which could cause them to snap.

for a lowering kit, i wouldnt put one on because they are not built for mx. i have raced with spacers for 3 years now and had no problems. i have them on my 300ex and my dads z400 and i have no problens with stuff bending and breaking.

even when it is stock, unless you land perfectly and weigh 100 pounds, it will bottom out on a mx track with big jumps. 4 feet high and flatlanding is pushing it when you weigh 150-160 lbs. I wouldnt go with spacers front or back, becuase the axles on 250's bend somewhat easily, and the front suspension is already bad, i also hear spacers create a lot of armpump. i would just stay away from that stuff if i where you.

dont get wheel spacers but 250ex can go pretty high with stock shocks i hit a double jump and nothin happend but u cannot i mean u cannot land flat land on a double jump on a 250ex ur shocks will break i had 2 rebuild mine twice but try that if u been in da game 4 a long time u got 2 be experienced at da trak im 15yrs old and ive benn ridin since i was 5years old so i would think before hitting a double jump oh and i weigh 170 250ex can take some abuse peace
