I am deciding on what pipe to get on my 300ex. I have it narrowed down to a TC or one of the new full system HMF's.
What do you think i should get? Please post your opinions thanks.

tc = loud....if its not a problem i like them
hmf = good sound and not to loud...great power and diffrent colors!

Cutris Sparks makes one of the best pipes for the 300ex. For about 350 bucks brand new from the company isn't to much IMO. They are rather loud though. But you can buy a spark arrestor for them. Just another pipe to consider.

I agree.

The HMF is nice.. but DANG are they proud of the full system. $100+ more than a Sparks X-4.

HMF + WB or FMF header is cheaper than a HMF full system also.

just make sure not to get hit from the rear with the sparks on. . made me wanna cry when i saw this. About threw up to. This, bumper, and big bore were the only freakin thing I like about this quad. lol. Other than this mishap. GREAT! pipe. I strongly reccomend one.

i'd go with either a TC or a Curtis Sparks. but if you're riding at a place where loud is an issue, then go with an HMF

Ouch!

Pipe should be repairable though.

The core is slips onto that end.. so a little work to fix the torn out holes, and a little pounding to unbend the most likley bent interior taper and you should be ok.

That would make me cry too.....

the silencer is fixable, but i think the header may rest in piece.

Rich Hetrick told me that the Yoshi pipe is the best of the best for this bike.

I really wouldnt have minded it. Maybe then we would be able to part it out and i wouldnt get spanked all day by 250F hybrids.
