i picked up a atc 250r 85 model this weekend and i need to know if any of my trx250r parts will work.. fmf fatty pipe, cylinder head w/ piston and k&n filter???

The pipe probably will not fit because of the front wheel on the ATC. ATC pipes loop down 180* and then make a sharp 90* turn while the most aftermarket TRX parts simply make a 180* turn to the rear.

If the head and piston are from an '86 TRX you will not have any problems.

I used trx250r parts on my atc250r, some stuff didn't fit, but most did. the pipe definetly won't and so won't the air filter. but most of your motor parts and chassis parts will fit.

yeah i worked on it last... pipe and filter don't work and i got extras for the trx. so now i got rims/ tires, reeds, and lil stukk like that. i went online and got a whole list of parts to start ordering between now and winter!
