yes that is the fill cap for the case...but if you have to add oil...add it to the tank.

So when I change my oil I just put it in the oil tank in front of the engine? Or do I put it in both? Thanks new YFZ owner

both...the book says 2.06 quarts ....i generally putt about a half a quart in the engine and the rest in the tank...
