I am getting beat by a 700 rapter at drag,what else can i do to my bike to gain the extra bike?i have a 2006 er with sparks pipe,sparks aggressive cam,12.8 je piston,k&n filter,head port and polished,green wire cut,sparks jet kit with 170 main.i am getting beat by about a half a bike,he says the only thing he has done is put a trinity pipe "whatever"i win most drags with around 40-50 bikes until he shows up always comes down to us at final 2,never beat him tho always same result.thinking about putting a hrc cam,13.5 je piston and adding a velocity intake on my bike,what do u all think,think i would gain a bike or??should i switch to alcohol.thanks..

If its just dragging your concerned about, then what is your setup currently for chassis? What kind of tires are you using? How are your starts? If your that close, you should be able to adjust your bikes current setup to beat him.

If it ends up being a top speed thing then try differant gearing first and save alot of money, if it is a short race then try differant gearing.HA,HA the motor you have should do the trick.......

your cam is the problem......i'm a drag racer and i've tried alot of things and raced alot of bikes........if it's a 04-05-06...>put a hot cam stage-2 in there..........i've had a sparks cam and its for mx.

Ya i had it set up for mx,now am wanting to switch over to more drag,the sparks cam is a low end cam with no gain on top i think,thats why i think i would do better with a hrc cam or stag 2 hot cam..what about air box eliminator with k&n filter?will a 13.5 piston help out any over what i have?

ya the sparks aggresive drop in is an 02 crf mainly bottom end cam I would go with hrc more of a top end cam

15 tooth front sprocket, and if that doesnt work put a 36 tooth rear

dang dude that sucks and i hope I can beat a yfz450 tomorrow if my friend shows up because if i can beat a banshee then i probley could beat a yfz
