I was wanting to know about how 2 hot wire a trx450...please listen to me before you think I've lost it or whatever. I;ve just recently purchased this trx450 from a seized property auction and didnt know it until just a little while ago that the wires running from the key switch that hooks to a plastic harness was clipped. It also didnt come with a key either..so my question is how would I hotwire it to get it started because I just want 2 try it out rite now...plus I have the plastic harness on order from the honda place but its on backorder ad I have to get the key for it still...thanx for any help...

you could just take the ignition off and go take it to a ket place they could make you a key I think

follow the wires down to the clip and unplug it.

Then find out wat wires you have to connect for the temp light to come on.

just unplug the key ingnition...its kinda stupid it has a key but if u disconnect it u can start it

so pretty much anyone could steal your bike at anytime

Cut the key switch off. You must splice the Black and Red wires together, if not the fan won't come on. It also makes the lights, temp light and carb heater work. The other 2 wire are Green and Black with a White stripe. They can be hooked to a kill switch.

You can just buy a new key switch with a key on ebay.
