Just wondering if I took out my spark arester,and took off my air lid and added a 170 main jet,would I see any power gains?ThanX

you deffinatly will, you just have to get the jetting right.

that's the first thing i did when i got mine last year and it was a bit more responsive. once you have the $$, get a cam and exhaust then you will have one badass machine!

I took the spark arester out and then i was wandering what would happen if i took the airbox lid....... i took it off and as soon as i took off it wouldn't run properly cause it was getting to much air......

but im not sure about the jets.......

i recon it would run good but don't take my advice..........

As soon as you induce more air into the engine you have to richen the mixture. Once you do that, it'll run like a champ

Cheap? hmmm

Get a shopvac hose and tape it to you carb. Let the other end lay on the side. When you drag race, blow really really hard into it. Supercharger

Any and all restrictions, take them off, rejet accordingly. Then get the other goodies when time and funds permit.

there is a screen inside the air filter that u can take out also
