i have a 06 450r. and i am looking to buy full skidplates, a-arms, chassis, and swingarm. what is a good brand and how much will it cost for all of these?

When I bought mine I didnt shop by brands but material and thickness. Make sure its as thick as possible, especially the rear skid... Good luck.

check out Pro Armor. full skid (120), swinger (100), a arms (80ish).

armadillo's .250 swinger did fine for my 300ex and 400ex. the 300ex had an mmf(changed to prm or another one shortly after i bought it) cahssis skid on it and the 400ex has ricochet chassis and a-arm skids on it. i have not been impressed with the a0arm skids, but the chassis skid is awesome.

i have a .190 prm belly skid and a .250 prm swingarm skid on the 450 because i wasn't sure if armadillo updated their skids for the 2006 model yet. i have about $195 in those 2. i am very happy with those 2.

whatever you get for the swing-arm skid, makse sure it is at least a .250 thick or it will be bending into your sprocket/chain and brake disk.

^^^yeah, I mention armidillo because no one ever does. the belly and swinger only costs me like 140 bucks and are very nice. They don't rattle either as long as you put some blue locktite on it. But that's with all skids pretty much.

dont buy dg, i have their swing arm skid on my 06 r and it is beat all to hell after just one ride . im going to have to hammer some of the dents out.
