i wanted to know which air filter to get, k&n or uni. i also wanted to know which pipes work best on a 250x. i ride trails mostly.

This topic has been beaten to death, but i swear by UNI. I use them on both my quads, and my 4x4 jeep. Great power, great filtration, and fantastic customer service. I've had to discuss a few things with them either over the phone, or via email, they have always helped me immediately and helped me save money.

If you ride in the dunes, use K&N.

If you ride in dust/mud, use UNI. Since you ride trails, i'd go for the UNI

Both the Pro Circuit T-4 and HMF full systems are up there in terms of "best" pipes. they are a great bang for the buck.
