Yes it will work. You have to splice your own wires in. Two of the contacts are positve, for tail and brake and one is the ground. Find two lock nuts and two washers that fit on the new tail light and it will bolt right up to the rubber mounts your old tail light was installed through. If you need the wire locations I can look for you later.

you can buy kits on ebay that come with the switches and everything needed to make it a functional brake light, if you just splice wires, you will end up with an 05-06 tail light that does the exact same thing as your current one. The kit comes complete with switches to activate the brake lights and is plug and play....
