If you are talking performance, start with the bolt ons (pipe, jetting, rev box, K&N ect) My 01 also has a 11:1 piston. I bought it with all the stuff I just listed already installed, but I can tell you that the piston makes a big torque difference. My buddy has a 02 400EX with the same mods, but without the piston and there is a huge difference.

As was stated before, the best bang for your buck: Slip on, filter, mod or remove aibox lid, remove choke and rejet.

Removing weight wherever possible never hurts.
