How would the triple rate works front shocks affect my ride , am interested in improving for woods racing . What are the major advantages of having resevoirs ? Any advice you all might have would be wonderfully appreciated .

my friend has them on his 400ex. they r def a good inprovement over stock, but i hear that w/rez last longer and dont bottom out as much. my .02

I would have said no you don't have to have or need the rezzies but I seen the term RACE in your thread so YES you need them,,they are worth the money...

I am with Rico on this one. If you do any type of racing or Jumping then Resivors are a very good idea. Get them and you will not be disappointed

i have a few rides on mine (3 rates with rezzys thankyou rico for guiding me through that one ) it was a huge improvement and have not regretted it yet! its ur money though

It takes the oil out of the shock. it helps keep the oil cool and last longer.

When a shock is worked hard it gets hot and the oil brakes down and the shocks will fade. The rezzie's hold nitrogen which keeps the oil cooler and consistent.

plus I think the rezzies look cool beside they help out . Worth the money.

indeed they are, defintly worth the extra cash, i have yet to have my shocks fad to the point where i can actually feel it.
and yes some times the rezzies do get warm, but not hot!!
enjoy the shocks, if you jump, like flying into corners defintly so worth it....

if u can afford it buy elka nomatter what they are in the long run ull be happier

Just something to think about, ressies do change rebound or compression or change the way the shock works they just help to keep the oil cool. I have works triple rates with no ressies and can rebuid them in about 15 minutes and it costs me about $10 to do it. 99% of people with ressies will have to send them away to be rebuilt. Shocks with out ressies can be rebuit very easy! Just something to think about.

is there a difference in performance form piggy back rezzys and remote rezzys?

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Elka says the piggybacks cool a couple degrees better but not enough to notice a difference.
