Does anyone know if a Houser 400ex steering stem will fit on a 300ex?

Yes , but you have to cut the steering stops off your frame, and is would probably be way too long, cause I'm assuming if it's aftermarket, it's a +1 or something. A stock 400ex stem is already 2 inches taller than the 300ex is. Been there, done that.
I just runa stock 400ex one in mine.

you dont have to cut the stops off of your frame all you have to do is cut them off the steering stem

That's what I meant, it's just been alomg time. You don't have to worry about that with aftermarket stems, cause they don't have them anyway.
