front hub removal

Anybody that has removed a hub from a predator. I have the manual on cd and it basicly sayes that the hub will fall off after you remove the cotter pin, nut,outside spacer and seal. No such luck for me. Do I need to get a gear puller or am I missing something.

I had one pull off by hand and the other I had to use a puller. If you have access to a puller use it.
