Does any one shut off their Pred and the fan runs for 5 mins? I ride with 2 friends a Honda 450R and LTZ400. When we stop their fans do not keep running. I have installed shrouds and it still keeps on running. Do the preds just run that hot?

They run hot! I changed the antifreeze to Engine Ice and I couldn't tell much difference. I also have the fins. The only thing that I haven't done is add in-line coolers.

I installed engine ice aswell no difference. Do the inline coolers have the heat sincs on them and go on the water hose?

i had the same problem, and took it to the dealer, cause it was under warranty.. They said that its tnot that they run that hott, ( but they do run hott), its more or less, polaris makes them run that long, as a precautionary procedure, to ensure that they dont over heat, so is not just you...

My friend and I both have preds, his being an 03 and mine an 05 TLD. When we ride and stop after 15 minutes or so the fans both run for about 5 minutes, and like clock work both quads fans shut off within seconds apart. Mine seems to shut off first. I tell my friend, mine shuts off first because I am leading and sucking up all the cool air.

He runs the orange stuff, I am using blue engine ice. Both have pure polaris air scoops.
