i just got a 558 kit and got it all in and the timing is off it wont fire. i have a race this weekend and i cant pay anyone to do it so i have to myself. the thing i dont get is the 558 kit came with a flywheels puller but i dont think you need it. i got the 3 brass chain links lined up with the indicators but its still not right. you have to spin it over 4 or 5 times to get it lined back up too. whats the deal?

The gold pins only line up once in a while. It is more important that you have the flywheel mark at TDC and that the cams are correct- Intake dots at 9 and 12 Exhaust will be at 10 and you have 16 (I think)pins between.
