Bigger carb on 250

What would I have to do to my 250ex to be able to put a bigger carb on it?

Also, what kind of carb would fit it?

i posted inyour forced air thread but you'd have to port the intake manifold and tap a new thread hole to use a 300ex carb.

if you didn't wanna deal with all that chit i think 200X/XR200 carbs work. i have a 200x carb sitting in my garage that i just havent had a chance to try yet.

also, you'd probably have to junk the OEM airbox.

"port the intake manifold"?, sorry man ive been riding for like 2 1/2 years now and i can do mostly anything on the quad but dont know what alot of the stuff is called.

porting= grind crap away to shape it differently or make a hole larger

intake manifold= what the carb/throttle body mounts to


you are unknowledgeable and you want a AWD DSM?
