I just went to the Walden track in NY Wednesday with my stock Outlaw. This was my first time ever being on a race track, so give me a little break. After a few practice laps, I got the feel for the track and started to loosen up. The website is www.mxwalden.com, and it was awesome. I hit all the big jumps, the suspension was pretty damn good for stock on the jumps. soaked up all the hard and crooked landings really nice. In the corners, the IRS definitely gives it a bit of body roll, but not uncontrollable. I was riding with a set of Holeshot XC's on the back that were worn down to the wear mark. I figured it would help me slide around the turns easier. It definitely did help and it still gripped the track really well when I wanted it to. Riding with IRS and dealing with all the extra weight on the track just means you have to use more body language in order to throw the heavy machine around. One of my first few attempts on the biggest jump I overshot it. I got way too much air and distance. I landed on the flat ground really damn hard. I stopped to check for damage and suprisingly found none. I have a slideshow and a short video of my first day out on the track. It was my first day ever going on a track and I'm pretty small to be riding a machine that heavy, so gimme a break. The video was recorded in the last tiring half hour and my mom isn't great with a camera, but its alright.

The OMG jump looks a bit photoshopped..Nice pics though...

wow! thats pretty damn cool man! how would you say the Outlaw compares to the other quads in your class powe wise?
Posted by: lvlenace
I know the pic looks photoshopped, which pisses me off a little bit, but its not. that jump I almost overshot it, but it wasn't bad. power wise, I have PLENTY. It definitely can keep up with everyone. the weight isn't an issue when it comes to accellerating or jumping. but thats coming from me, only weighing 130 pounds

In your sig you have HMF exhaust listed, just curious how you like it? Also where did you find it?
Posted by: wolffie
you can find the HMF line on www.motosport.com
the Sports series are really nice. they give a healthy boost of low and midrange power. for the price you cant beat them IMO. thats what i run as well.

Still can't find a listing for an Outlaw.

Kewl, good work. Are there any big table tops on that track ?, they all look tiny. anything above 80 foot ?
Posted by: lvlenace
nah, thats the small track. the bigger one is for dirtbikes only. i swear to god, no one gives quads a chance in NY!

Bummer, looks like fun anyhoo. Keep up the good work, and the vids stuff is great.
