Hey, I've been wanting to build up my 03 400ex. I been searching for cams for a while now and stumbled on the hrc cam for the xr400. Anyone know where to get one now a days our any updated info on them. I dont like reground cams due to the different material hardness.

Try calling Service Honda and see if they can get it. It will probably be a little spendy, but I've heard it's one of the best cams you can buy for the XR/EX. Make sure you also put a higher compression piston in it and use OEM XR gaskets (or aftermarket that have the same compressed thicknesses, but OEM is best).

ServiceHonda has the cheapest prices for OEM parts. I've compared, ServiceHonda always wins...

BTW, Hotcams cams are not re-grinds...
