This pat wk end marked round 5 of the Idaho State Series.

This round was held at Rupert Mx Track

Last year this one of the more popular rounds with a nice MX layout. This year the layout changed into more a MX whoops track

The track held together very nicely and was watered consistantly despite the exceeding 104 degree weather we had the entire wk end.
The minis had there fair share of problems over the wk end and with some DNS's and DNF's.
Between Blown head gaskets,Ground wires and frames breaking,it made for some stressed out kids !

I thought I would post a few pics of some of the kids I took over the wk end
Congrats to all the kids .congrats to LILQJ's 1st place both days.My son Brandon was leading in the main on Sunday, but broke his frame and finished 4th overall fort the wk end. He also was in 2nd on Sat but had ground wire issues

This kid had his 1st debut racing a 250ex(no points race for him)
the kids had a really good time playing with the minis..

KElsey got out front ,but Brandon hot on her tail! Brandon was very persistant this wk end. Its too bad he couldnt take home a 1st place over his Sister!

I really enjoyed the pics. My daughter (9yrs) is just chomping at the bit to go to other tracks. we live in AZ and this is not the time to go racing. we are planning on heading to the kingman area for some racing series for mini-quads.

I dont think I would want to race in AZ this time of year elther!! We just got back from a trail ride this wk end and in the valley it got as high as 110 degrees!

We are thinking about Utah,Wash. and any other surrounding states next spring.
