I should be recieveing my nerfs any day now and i need rear tires kind of bad. Just wondering will the tire rub on the Dg nerfs if i get 22 inch tires or should i stick with 20's??

Posted by: GreatAim

I wouldnt think they would rub, since most people who ridein woods have 22's and nerfs.....this would of been something u would of heard about

I run AC nerfs and razr 22's and dont' have a problem at all.

are reazors lighter than the XCTs?? (holeshots)

Thanks for the replys guys. the reason i asked is because my friend has graydons and he can only run 20's with them there is only like half an ich gap between the nerf bar and the tire tread.

No one I know of has ever had a problem with 22s and nerfs, unless the nerfs were bent. I run 22s and nerfs on my 300, and the 400 is longer.

Hey guys i got my nerfs bars today. I put them on and.....I just ordered some mudsharks also i hope they fit. I am not sure if they will. i will let you know when i get them mounted monday or tuesday.

I ran DG nerfs with 22's with no problem. They should fit fine.

I'm running 22" Holeshot XCT's in the rear and Graydon Nerfs. I have very little room b/t them. Maybe an inch or so. I bent one of my nerfs right into my tire during a xc race. It rubbed bad but I bent it back without any problems.

I have DG Nerfs and 22" Bandits (which suck, btw) and there is no rubbing and plenty of room to go to 23's too if I wanted to (I don't).

I went out and measured the gap, it is 2 inches, which means I can run anything smaller than 24's

Thanks guys you have been very helpful. When i get the tires on and some riding time on them i will post a review of them.

woulent that be anything les than 28s? theres 2" of gap with a 22 and 1 inch of gap with 22 then 28s would only rub, im only sayin this cuz i run 26" sur traks for snow and it works fine

Posted by: GreatAim

i have 20" tires, from the tread to the back of the nerfbars there is 2 inches, for every inch taller the tire is, half an inch more sticks out on both side, so if i went with tires that were 4" taller, it would stick out 2 more inches on each side.
