OUCH!
yesterday two_balls (exriders member) and myself had a head on collision on the trails at my place. We both got lucky that we were not seriously injured............but his bike took on some pretty bad damage.
check the where to ride forum for a thread named "sundays in VA". there are more pics there.

That's because of the Superman sticker!

OUCH!

Man that could have gotten ugly really quick!! Glad you guys are all right!

Posted by: Str8Wicked

Yeah you guys are lucky. I've seen people get really hurt in glamis by coming over a dune and not knowing some else was on the other side.

Last Januarary in Glamis my neighbor got knocked off his 250 bike when a 400 hit him while he was racing down comp hill. He ended up being knocked out for a min. or so but he was OK after a few beers. His bike was fine but the 400 was thrashed.

wow..that pretty much destroyed his front end didnt it..?

glad to hear both of you are alright..

Posted by: 4punksdad

yeah jabber.................and I had my superman shirt on too!

Posted by: JabberJaw

it's a good thing or you'd be needing some superman band-aids!

Posted by: Striker49

Thats not gonna be cheap. At least you fellas are aight. Hope ya get things back together again and on the trails soon.
Just look at it this way, its a chance to get some new A-Arms

Posted by: 4punksdad

I think he only broke his ball-joints.....not the a-arms. and the plastic, but that can be repaired with zip ties.

Posted by: Striker49

Well, the wife wouldnt know the difference...

Posted by: Sparks425Ex

Yeah you could deff. look at is as a sorta good things. A Really good reason to start getting more aftermarket stuff. Glad you guys are ok.

Posted by: two_baaalls

Just found this thread.. Those are aftermarket a-arms, Houser +1's. I just broke the ball joints, bent the tie rod, busted the plastic. I have blue race plastic, but I ordered some nice black shiny plastic anyways.

Knee is still whacked or I'd be riding this weekend.

Posted by: 4punksdad

LOL..........your knee too?
both of my knees are in pain.........and I have some other minor scrapes & bruises. I will be riding sunday despite the pain

Posted by: Rip_Tear

Ouch, you need to cut your trails down so you can see further ahead, all my trails are in trees which you can see between! Hope its easily repaired

Posted by: SGA

Glad your you two are o'k. What made ya'll run into each other??
