I've been riding up in NY state...Modena...its called ATVNY and its pretty decent...you pay $35 and you can ride all day, barbeque, fish and even camp there. but the drive of 55 mins to get up there is wearing thin already!

Yeah I agree, especially with diesel at 2.80. Not worth it.

I think I'm going to start riding up near me at a place called Brushwood..used to ride there when i was a kid, but havent been over there for like 15 years!

yeah...kind of the same place...the shooting happend in a place called Stag Hill, which is part of brushwood. Stag Hill is in the NY State side of brushwood though.

Anyone want to ride saturday? I am near the NY border also.

As for riding on Stag Hill, you better have some beefy skid plates and some plus size tires. I 4-wheel with my Jeep up there a lot, too rough and rocky for a sports quad though.

Stag Hill is on the Jersey side btw

Maybrook is a good place to ride for free and legal

Sorry for the confusion, I do not ride my quad on the hill in Mahwah. Just my Jeep (trans is fried right now, it's not going anywhere any time soon). Never been to Maybrook, don't plan on it.

What about Monticello? We were riding my friend's field in Liberty 2 weekends ago and these dudes riding through told us about a powerline off the quickway. We tried to find it on the way home but it was night and we couldnt find it.

I have to drive to Miami for work Sunday but I would like to ride Saturday if anyone's going out
